“I have been to a number of dentists in my 63 yrs. I can say that Dr. Schumer is the best I have ever been to. He is friendly, and made me feel very at ease (which wasn’t easy to do in my case) and also conservative with the treatments. Had a root canal done today which was 100% painfree as he had told me it would be. Wish I had found him years ago. I would recommend “The Smilezone” to anyone who’s looking for a new dentist. The entire staff were friendly and reassuring starting with the front desk. “I have had crowns, xrays and routine cleanings done here. Dr. Schumer is meticulous about the precision of his work, and about ensuring that I am satisfied with the fit, bite, appearance and comfort. Hygienists Heidi and Gabby have been thorough and professional. I was disappointed at my last visit to find that although the practice accepts Delta Dental they do not accept the Delta Dental provided through the CDPHP Medicare plan. I have been a patient here for many years, going back to the Dr. T years, and found this disappointing. The lack of a 5th star is due to this. The care, however has been great.“

“Woke up in the middle of the night with some dental pain. Called the next AM and they were able to squeeze me in. Saw Dr. Llera for the first time who did an excellent job on a difficult wisdom tooth filling (had to drill sideways from the gum side!). My lidocaine did not take effect and they had to try a few times. I was in the chair probably a lot longer than a typical filling but Dr. Llera and her assistant Aurora demonstrated patience and care in getting the job done. Have seen many of the doctors at the Smile Zone and they are all excellent.“

“I had a dental emergency with my front tooth 3 days before Thanksgiving – the 16 year old crown fell off and the tooth underneath it broke off. I had a huge space in the front of my mouth! I called the Smile Zone at 10am Monday and was in Dr. Buckley’s chair at 12 noon. My first time seeing her was wonderful. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and she thoroughly explained my 3 options. Her work was excellent. Two impressions were taken and 2 hours later I had what appeared to be a tooth back in my mouth (a temporary fix)! I’ve been going to the Smile Zone since 1984 and I have now seen all 4 dentists. They are all exceptional dentists and the office staff is very helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SMILE ZONE!“
